Alicia Steen My name is Alicia Steen. I was born in Mexico City and lived there until the age of 19. I had a happy childhood, two loving parents and two younger sisters. There was joy and love in my life. My dad was killed in a car accident when I was 10 years old. This completely changed my life; not only did I lose my dad, but I also felt I lost my mom as she had a very hard time dealing with her loss and her pain and fell into a deep depression. I was molested by two uncles and grew up feeling dirty and ashamed. There was so much anger in me – towards my dad for leaving me, towards my mom for not being available, towards God for not protecting me and even towards my self for allowing the molestation to take place. What a set-up from the enemy. I got married at the age of 22 and things were okay for a couple of years. Satan had convinced me that the only way I could avoid getting hurt was by keeping everyone at arms length – including my husband. What a lie from the pit of hell! Eventually, we separated but decided to seek counseling for the sake of our two daughters. It was then that the Lord started the inner healing and deliverance process. Not only did he heal my marriage, but he also brought healing to the little girl inside me and taught me to forgive and love myself and others unconditionally. His Word says that everything Satan has purposed for our destruction, God is going to turn around for His glory. He has surely done this for me! I am no longer a victim – I am victorious through the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ! My husband and I have recently celebrated our 25th anniversary and together we serve God wholeheartedly in ministry. Through this healing process, God has given me the passion and compassion to be his humble vessel, and to allow Him to use me to bring healing and deliverance to His people.
